Webinar: Artificial Intelligence – how could it potentially help bridge the Cyber-skills Gap
Date: 4th October 2017
Time: 10:30am
Duration: 75 minutes
Speakers include: Pete Warren, Chairman at Cyber Security Research Institute; Andrew Jones, Professor of Cyber Security at University of Hertfordshire; Mark Deem, Partner at Cooley LLP.
Throughout Security Serious Week this year, during the first week of October, it will be putting on webinars every day to tackle the theme of “Building Awareness and Bridging the Cyber-Skills Gap through Creativity and Diversity”.
“Artificial Intelligence – how could it potentially help bridge the Cyber-skills gap” is the third webinar to take place during Security Serious and will look at how artificial intelligence could be used to positively impact the cyber-security industry.
It’s no secret that organisations are struggling to find the required skilled personnel to man their often-complex defence systems. Enterprises are under constant attack from increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks and with time being a factor, a solution needs to be found.
Is the answer AI? With many of the AI cyber defence solutions available being machine learning based with the aim to increase the efficiency and precision of tasks, AI could be the answer to bridging the cyber skills gap and save the industry.
Tackling the problem will be our panel of speakers. Peter Warren, journalist and thought leader on AI, will chair this session on how AI should be in the interest and control of the people for the people – and how it will impact on businesses from a legal perspective.
