Security B-Sides London will return to the UK in 2014, to be held on Tuesday the 29th April.

Under the banner of “Connecting People & Agents of All Kinds”, the community-driven event will again be held at Kensington Town Hall. Past speakers at B-Sides London have included penetration testers, industry analysts and leading consultants from the information security space.

Security B-Sides London welcomes all content for presentation ideas from prospective speakers; talks are selected by the ticket holders so the final schedule reflects what the attendees want to hear.

Security B-Sides London founder and ex-director Soraya Viloria Montes de Oca said: “B-Sides London is a con that belongs to the community, if you want it to happen you have to volunteer and make it happen. Every new team member brings fresh ideas and energy.

“At B-SidesLondon you come and never want to leave. You are a challenge winner one year, then become a challenge creators the next and a presenters the following. That applies to almost role, speakers become volunteers, rookies become mentors … for those who care is a living thing.”

Talks will be spread across two tracks, held in the Great Hall and the Small Hall of the Town Hall, with capacity for 500 and 175 respectively. Also available are workshops, challenges and the rookie track for the next generation of conference speakers, where mentors are available. In the spirit of this conference, a third “unscheduled track” is also available, so there is always room for the unexpected.

The release date for tickets will be announced soon, as will the opening and closing date for content for presentation at the conference. For more information, visit the website at www.securitybsides.org.uk.
