If you ever wanted to see some of your Facebook friends au natural, then a recent scam seemed to allow this.
According to The Hacker News, the clickjacking scam appeared on a user’s timeline with a friend’s picture and an invitation to “See (Friend)’s naked video,” or “(Friend Name’s) Private Video.” Unsurprisingly it is not genuine and if you get curious and click, you will be redirected to a malicious website which reports that your Flash Player is not working properly and needs to be re-installed.
Following this will install malware on your system and a malicious browser extension to spread the scam and steal users’ photos. According to WLTX, two million Facebook users are already infected with the same malware and will unknowingly flood their friend’s timeline with the same campaign, as clicking on the message will automatically publish the same link on the victims Facebook wall, potentially allowing friends to click on it.
