More than 50 cloud service providers (CSPs) have joined the CloudTrust Program to be rated as “enterprise-ready” by SkyHigh Networks.

Delivered by the the cloud visibility and enablement company, the Skyhigh CloudTrust Program evaluates thousands of cloud services and grants the Skyhigh Enterprise-Ready seal to only those CSPs that fully satisfy the most stringent requirements for data protection, identity verification, service security, business practices, and legal protection.

A free and objective program available to all CSPs including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS providers, the company said that the Skyhigh CloudTrust Program differentiates enterprise-ready services from high-risk services so that organisations can quickly adopt the cloud services that are not only in demand from their employees, but also meet the enterprises’ security, compliance and governance requirements.

Vidhya Ranganathan, senior vice president of product at Accellion, said: “We’re thrilled to work with Skyhigh Networks to ensure that organisations are deploying only secure, enterprise-ready cloud solutions within their networks.”

Abby Hassel Strong, senior product marketing manager at Aerohive, said: “At Aerohive, we realise how critical it is to secure the sensitive data flowing through wireless infrastructure in today’s mobility revolution. From the beginning, we have invested in an end-to-end approach to baking comprehensive security into our architecture, both in our hardware and software.

“Our cloud-based solution has been designed to take advantage of other security systems in place within an enterprise to eliminate security blind spots. We’re thrilled our commitment to providing enterprises with network edge security has been recognised as Enterprise-Ready by Skyhigh CloudTrust’s stringent security criteria.”

Kris Lahiri, chief security officer at Egnyte, said: “We deliver an enterprise file-sharing platform built from the cloud down, and as we expand our offering, security is a top priority so we can ensure that our customers’ data is 100 per cent accessible and secure.

“We’re very proud to be named Enterprise-Ready by Skyhigh CloudTrust because it’s a powerful validation that we provide a comprehensive enterprise-grade solution that fully addresses the security needs for our customers’ data, whether it resides on-premises, in the cloud or a combination of both.”
