Database expands to include contacts and companies across the European Union

DiscoverOrg (www.discoverorg.com), the leading Sales Intelligence platform and 3-time Inc. 500 company, announced today the expansion of its database of European Union (EU) contacts and organizations. The database now represents the world’s largest collection of Safe Harbor-compliant EMEA information technology decision makers.
“We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the initial release of our EU Dataset,” said Henry Schuck, co-founder and CEO of DiscoverOrg. “Over the last year, we have been working diligently to assemble and validate a much broader dataset that satisfies Safe Harbor rules and expands our customers reach into the European Union.”
The EU dataset is now complete with more information on decision makers and companies across the European Union. DiscoverOrg’s Real-Time Triggers and Opportunity Alerts, which alert customers to immediate sales opportunities, will now include opportunities within the expanded companies based in the European Union.
“The European Union has extensive privacy and data-collection laws, and we have gone through great lengths to ensure that DiscoverOrg is certified by the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor and the U.S.-Switzerland Safe Harbor programs of the U.S. Department of Commerce,” said Anthony Stark, DiscoverOrg’s vice president and general counsel. “This will allow our clients to feel comfortable that the data they are accessing within DiscoverOrg has been gathered in an ethical and regulatory approved way.”
Like all DiscoverOrg datasets, the EU dataset was hand curated by over 100 in-house researchers through live phone interviews. This industry-leading methodology guarantees 95 percent accuracy, with 98 percent verified email addresses and 96 percent direct dial phone numbers. Additionally, all data is refreshed and verified at least once every 90 days.
