Malware and breach protection firm Lastline announced a partnership with cybersecurity technology provider Avanan, known for its “one-click” cloud security. Avanan joins a growing community of cybersecurity vendors that integrates Lastline’s technology. Lastline is now fully integrated with Avanan, providing threat visibility and detection, and optimized response against malware-based attacks against cloud-based applications and data.
“The days of isolated, stove-pipe security appliances is over, especially as enterprises are migrating to the cloud,” said Michael Landewe, Avanan Co-founder. “The market is demanding that tools work together to improve productivity and effectiveness. Lastline’s superior malware detection combined with Avanan’s one-click cloud implementation delivers a comprehensive defense against the most advanced of today’s threats.”
Avanan connects leading security tools, such as Lastline’s malware detection, to the most widely used enterprise SaaS applications, improving protection of sensitive corporate data and IP.  Avanan’s one-click deployment allows customers to deploy a new security solution in seconds. Because it doesn’t require an appliance, agent or gateway proxy, Avanan can begin protecting a SaaS account immediately, with no effect on users. Avanan selecting Lastline for the critically important malware detection capability demonstrates Lastline’s best-in-class reputation. Avanan selected Lastline based on demonstrably better detection, ease of integration, and cost effectiveness, providing the highest possible added value to the Avanan security platform.
“We’re honored that Avanan selected Lastline for their malware detection,” said Brian Laing, Lastline CRO. “They are joining an impressive list of market-leading partner companies that, after extensive vetting, identified Lastline as superior to alternatives, reinforcing Lastline’s reputation as the best malware detection solution available today.”
Independent third parties have validated the performance of Lastline for detecting advanced malware and breaches. Mirroring the results of the 2016 test, Lastline achieved 100 percent in both malware detection and overall Security Effectiveness in the NSS Labs’ 2017 Breach Detection Systems group test, the only product ever to repeat with perfect results. And the Forrester Wave™: Automated Malware Analysis Q2 2016 Report identifies Lastline as the strongest current offering on the market.
Lastline malware detection, fully integrated with Avanan, is available immediately.
