Lastline Inc., the leader in advanced network-based malware protection, today announced a partnership with ManagedMethods, a leading provider of cloud application security solutions. ManagedMethods has integrated Lastline’s malware detection technology that fuels the company’s breach protection platform into its Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) offering, providing unparalleled malware-based threat detection and remediation for popular cloud and email applications.

“Sophisticated malware is continually evolving to be more evasive and increasing the challenge of detecting advanced threats,” said Charlie Sander, CEO of ManagedMethods.  “Lastline’s powerful malware detection, combined with ManagedMethods cloud application and email protection platform, offers comprehensive security against the most advanced threats.”
Independent third parties have validated the performance of Lastline for detecting advanced malware. NSS Labs’ 2017 Breach Detection Systems Group Test recognized Lastline as the only breach detection offering they have ever tested to achieve 100 percent Malware Detection and 100 percent Security Effectiveness, and the company achieved this two years in a row.

“We are excited that ManagedMethods has selected Lastline to provide malware protection in its CASB,” said Brian Lang, Lastline CRO. “ManagedMethods has choices for providing malware analysis, and after careful vetting, they selected Lastline, providing added validation of the superiority of Lastline’s technology.”

The integrated ManagedMethods and Lastline solution is available immediately.
