A leading cyber security firm is hiring a new head of marketing to help increase growth in the UK and overseas.

Foregenix, which recorded annual sales growth of 35% for the past four years, has hired Eduardo Hotta who will head a marketing team of four.

Hotta’s brief will include developing localised campaigns in overseas markets which now account for two-thirds of all revenue and continue to raise the profile of the business.

Hotta joins from cloud-based software firm BLACKBX where he was responsible for driving new leads globally. A native of the state of São Paolo, Brazil – where Foregenix set-up a new office this year – Hotta is a fluent English and Spanish speaker in addition to his native Portuguese.

Wiltshire headquartered Foregenix offers high-level cyber security consultancy and develops threat detection software for websites. Approaching its tenth anniversary, Foregenix is now a recognised industry authority in fields such as digital forensics and Point-to-Point Encryption compliance for payment systems, validating 47% of solutions globally.

Eduardo Hotta comments: ‘Foregenix makes a real difference to businesses, jobs and prosperity by developing new cyber security services which combat the ever evolving threat posed by cyber criminals.’

“My aim and that of the marketing team is to ensure companies are aware of the top-level cyber security support we provide to protect them from potentially devastating attacks.’

Foregenix is headquartered in Marlborough and has offices in the USA, South Africa, Uruguay, Germany, Australia and Brazil.
