Everbridge (NASDAQ: EVBG), the global leader in critical event management and enterprise safety software applications to help keep people safe and businesses running, is hosting ‘Prepare and Protect,’, an exclusive forum in the City of London designed to help companies manage their business operations against a backdrop of increased security threat.
The forum takes place at the offices of Willis Towers Watson in Lime Street on June 26th, and will present experts, practitioners and solutions providers discussing the landscape of risk that faces every organisation and its employees. The audience will comprise over 100 organisations representing the FTSE 500 and key UK public services.
The Everbridge forum will feature two keynote speakers. Will Geddes is the CEO and Founder of the International Corporate Protection (ICP) Group, whose experience spans 25 years. He has been involved in specialist security advising corporate, government and private clients across the world and has managed and tactically responded to crises and international events from environmental disasters to emergency evacuations in multiple, often high-risk locations.
The second keynote speaker is John Ludlow, Chief Executive of Airmic, an association focused on risk management and insurance decision makers. John is a seasoned risk management expert, and was SVP and head of global risk management at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) following 5 years of senior operational leadership roles in the hospitality industry.
Other companies presenting and on the panels at the event include: ASIS UK; National Bank of Kuwait; Guys & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust; Willis Towers Watson; International SOS and Control Risks and AON. The morning and afternoon panel sessions will be moderated by Everbridge.
The main focus will be to provide insights into the many critical events which disrupt daily operations and put the safety of an organization’s people, as well as their business assets, supply chain and brand reputations, at risk. Presentations will discuss the challenges and threats that currently face organisations and help delegates to assess their own levels of preparedness and planning.
“The threat landscape is almost constantly shifting, which makes it very hard for businesses to accurately weigh the implications for their own employees,” said Kirsty Grant, Marketing Manager at Everbridge. “This event will shed light on the most prevalent threats, but more importantly will provide practical, informed advice about what organisations can do to ensure they are prepared with an operational resilience plan.”
