Scammers are targeting Australians desperate to get their hands on Apple’s latest premium smartphones, using the promise of an iPhone 11 Pro to lure in unsuspecting victims. The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has warned people to be on the lookout for the scam, which uses fake emails to “phish” for information that could be used to steal your identity.
