As remote working becomes the new norm, and the use of hybrid IT systems increases there is a greater risk of exposure and insecurity for enterprises.
New data from Cybersecurity Insiders has shown that 72% of organisations have experienced an increase in IoT and endpoint security incidents in the last year. They also found that 56% of organisations anticipate that they will be comprised in the next 12 months due to an IoT or endpoint related attack. One of the more worrying findings was that 43% of the enterprises interviewed believed that their means to discover, identity, and respond to unknown, insecure, or unmanaged devices which have access to their networks or cloud resources was “moderate to unlikely”.
