Forescout Launches VistaroAI™ to Help Security Teams Cut Through AI Hype and Act Faster on Real Threats

Forescout Technologies has today introduced Forescout VistaroAI™, a new agentic AI capability designed to help security teams prioritize risks, reduce investigation time, and respond faster to cyber threats.

Unlike traditional AI assistants that rely on prompts or chatbot interfaces, VistaroAI is built around pre-programmed security skills and role-based workflows. The system continuously analyzes changes across an organization’s environment and presents prioritized tasks with clear explanations and recommended actions, while keeping human operators in control.

“Most AI tools assume security teams will adapt to the AI,” said Barry Mainz, CEO of Forescout. “VistaroAI flips that model. We’ve encoded agent-based skills with guardrails and paired them with role-based personas that deliver recommendations and next steps aligned to real needs. Teams see value immediately and can dramatically improve their productivity.”

The launch comes as security teams struggle to keep pace with increasingly complex environments and attackers who are using AI to scale their operations.

Forescout CTO Justin Foster said the platform represents a shift in how AI is applied to cybersecurity.

“In 2025, we saw the peak of inflated expectations for AI in cybersecurity,” Foster said. “Most solutions made tools smarter but left the work fragmented and manual. VistaroAI changes the experience of the work itself, helping teams understand what changed, why it matters, and what to do next.”

The system is built into the Forescout 4D Platform and combines asset intelligence with proprietary threat intelligence from Forescout Research – Vedere Labs. It identifies new assets, emerging risks, and vulnerabilities, and provides contextualized recommendations tailored to specific roles, including SOC analysts, network operators, and security managers.

Industry partners say the technology builds on Forescout’s established strengths.

“Forescout’s strength has always been its ability to leverage broad integrations to deliver unmatched asset intelligence and precise, automated control,” said Burke Adams, CEO of Upstart Cyber. “VistaroAI builds on this foundation by contextualizing that visibility around immediate priorities, helping teams reduce analysis time, improve decision-making, and accelerate their response, while keeping humans firmly in the driver’s seat.”

Chris Roberts, Field CTO at World Wide Technology, said the platform stands out in a crowded AI market.

“It’s rare to find a tool that actually gives you a clear, accurate picture of what’s going on when it matters most,” Roberts said. “VistaroAI is a real, working solution that delivers meaningful intelligence without the usual fuss. It genuinely does what it promises, which is a rarity in the AI hype era.”

VistaroAI is available now as part of the Forescout 4D Platform and will be demonstrated at RSA Conference 2026 in San Francisco.
