The Register: Germany’s space research centre in Cologne has been the victim of a co-ordinated and covert targeted attack carried out by state-sponsored hackers, according to a Der Spiegel report. Business Insider: An Israeli hacker calling himself "Buddhax" has reportedly exposed some of the participants of an Anonymous-backed cyberattack that hit a number of Israeli websites this week, Haaretz reported. Techworm: FBI arrested three men who were found accused of stealing top-secret US Army helicopter simulator software from the U.S Army Computers and hacking several Major Gaming Companies including Microsoft's Xbox Valve Corporation, Activision Blizzard, Zombie Studios and Epic Games. Guardian: BlackBerry said on Sunday it plans to release security updates for messaging software for Android and iOS devices by Friday, to address vulnerabilities in programs related to the "Heartbleed" security threat. CIO: Akamai Technologies, whose network handles up to 30 percent of all Internet traffic, said Sunday a researcher found a fault in custom code that the company thought shielded most of its customers from the Heartbleed bug.
