It took three days, but Yahoo Mail is back in working order for all those who have been affected by the prolonged downtime. However, to the dismay of many of these users, many of the emails that they have received during these days seem to have been lost.
Yahoo says, however, that it is currently working on bringing all accounts up to date, together with the emails between 11/25 and 9/12 that have disappeared from the Inbox.

“We’re also working on restoring IMAP and POP access for those of you accessing your email through a non-Yahoo app (such as Outlook, Apple Mail, or the native mail app on your phone),” the company said in a message.
Aside from finally being able to access their inboxes from browsers, users can also get their content via iOS, Android andWindows 8 Yahoo Mail apps.
