Small businesses in the UK’s technology industry are set to compete for a share of £4m as part of a new Government competition to tackle cyber crime.
Business secretary Vince Cable will announce the competition, which will see companies develop ideas to tackle online threats, at the inaugural US-UK Global Cyber Security Summit in London today.
The competition will be run by The Technology Strategy Board in 2015 which will award funding to the companies with the best ideas.
