Apple pulled an update for iOS 8 just an hour after its release, following customer complaints.
Released to fix a series of issues, users complained that it meant that they lost phone signal, leaving them unable to make calls. Others said the Touch ID feature, which allows people to unlock their iPhone using their fingerprints, no longer worked.
In a statement, Apple said: “We have received reports of an issue with the iOS 8.0.1 update. We are actively investigating these reports and will provide information as quickly as we can. In the meantime we have pulled back the iOS 8.0.1 update.”
