70 per cent of mobile users have insecure apps on their work devices.
According to research by Wandera, 2.4 per cent of employees are actively leaking passwords through use of such vulnerable apps, while over one in eight employees visited at least one site with malware during the last quarter.
Of the mobile threats detected by Wandera, 17 per cent originated from China. This is followed by Russia with 14 per cent, USA with 13 per cent, Vietnam with 11 per cent and Ukraine with ten per cent. This closely reflects the pattern of established threat sources for PCs and laptops.
