The author of the Rakos malware has built himself a nicely-sized botnet, according to a post today by Renato Marinho of Morphus Labs.
Based on data gathered via a series of “high interaction” honeypots, Marinho says the Rakos botnet lists around 8,300 active bots every day, and over 24,000 unique bots over a three-day period.
