Leading cyber security company Foregenix is continuing the next step of its expansion into the Asia Pacific (APAC) region with the opening of its Singapore office.

The office will enable the company to build on its growing presence and client base in Asia and increasing uptake of its Managed Detection and Response services.

The Wiltshire-headquartered firm opened its APAC base in Sydney, Australia in May 2017. Foregenix has established overseas operations in Uruguay, Brazil, Germany, South Africa and the USA.

Foregenix generates about 60% of its revenue from international sales, which includes risk and compliance services including penetration testing, Digital Forensics and Incident Response as well as its website and endpoint security solutions.

The Sunday Times named Foregenix as one of the UK’s fastest growing exporters in 2017 and 2018 in its SME Export Track 100.

Raymond Simpson, who heads up Foregenix’s operations in APAC comments: ‘There is strong demand in the region for fit-for-purpose and tailored cyber security services, which has led to substantial growth since we established our APAC headquarters in Sydney, now close on two years ago. The new Singapore office reflects the continuing demand as well as our commitment to building lasting partnerships and strong client relationships in the region.’

Foregenix CCO, Benjamin Hosack, comments: ‘Singapore has a well-deserved reputation as a global centre of banking and technological innovation with an educated, cosmopolitan and highly talented workforce. This reflects our company culture, outlook and interests and is a fantastic base to continue to build our growing client base in Asia.

Andrew Henwood, Foregenix CEO, adds: “It is very much about delivering services which meet the specific needs of the local market while adding value to our clients in Asia by delivering the latest skills and up to the minute knowledge we have gained through our global operations.’

Foregenix offers specialist experience in the retail, education, utilities, government, public sector, banking and finance sectors. It works closely with PCI Security Standards Council and leading financial services businesses such as Visa and MasterCard on developing new standards and approaches to payment security.
