The countdown to this year’s European Data Protection Summit is underway. With just 7 days to go and the first anniversary of GDPR on 25 May 2019, organisers are in the final stages of planning the prestigious conference, which takes place at 133 Houndsditch, London on the 3rd of June this year.

The European Data Protection Summit 2019 will welcome over 700 attendees from data protection, privacy and security disciplines, feature over 50 industry expert speakers and over 30 exhibitors.

With over 30 hours of content guaranteed, the first in a series of data protection conferences from the Data Protection World Forum will feature 3 conference streams. Insightful talks, workshops, panel discussions and endless networking opportunities are set to dominate the agenda at the European Data Protection Summit.

Speakers confirmed for European Data Protection Summit 2019 include:

Max Schrems, Founder of noyb and Privacy Activist

Steve Wright, GDPR Consultant for Bank of England

Nicola Roviaro, Head of EMEA Data Privacy at Google

Tamara Ballard, Data Protection Lawyer at Channel 4

Sheila M. Fitzpatrick, President & Founder of Fitzpatrick & Associates

Speaking about this year’s event, European Data Protection Summit CEO, Nick James said:

“The European Data Protection Summit will feature world-class keynote speakers who will share their unique insights into data protection and breaches which have taken place over the past two years. With GDPR approaching it’s first anniversary, data protection and security has never been more relevant.
