Cyberfort Group Launches To Support Business Growth Through Cybersecurity.

As cyber-attacks continue to increase in sophistication, businesses urgently need to catch-up on detection and defence without compromising on commercial viability. Cyberfort Group, a new breed of cybersecurity provider, has launched to help businesses maximise growth while solving their biggest challenges with cybersecurity strategy.

Cyberfort provides expert cyber advice and consultancy, alongside a comprehensive range of cybersecurity products and services. Its mission is to help organisations make better security decisions, achieve compliance and improve data governance and security, all in the context of solving business challenges and adding value.

Andy Hague, CEO of Cyberfort Group, said: ‘We’re launching Cyberfort to help businesses of all sizes understand that the threat they face is very real, but tackling it needn’t be an impediment to business growth. Organisations should approach cybersecurity as an opportunity to unlock new revenue streams and add value to the business, allowing them to focus on growth and innovation in a secure and sustainable manner.’

With 125 cyber experts within the group, and five UK sites, the Cyberfort story began with the acquisition of two ex-MOD nuclear bunkers, in Newbury, Berkshire, and Ash, Kent, in July 2017. The two sites were transformed into state-of-the-art secure facilities that now house Cyberfort’s managed secure cloud, hosting and colocation services, meeting modern business’ demanding cybersecurity and connectivity requirements.

Cyberfort – which has a range of existing clients, including HMG departments, critical national infrastructure projects and blue-chip and FTSE companies in the private sector – then launched its CREST-accredited penetration testing business in February 2018, which quickly established a reputation as one of the leading pen testing services. Cyberfort’s three-pronged approach was completed by bringing advisory consultancy Agenci into the group in June 2018, and assurance and monitoring experts Auriga Consulting, in April 2019.

Hague adds: ‘We are a team of cybersecurity professionals who are big enough to help, but small enough to care. It’s who we are and what we do. Countering the financial motivation of cybercriminals requires an expert partner to advise on the potential risks your business faces, help detect if these risks exist within your organisation, and defend you against those risks should they materialise – but ensuring optimised business operations on every level. We ensure our cyber capabilities partner with clients to solve their unique challenges and maximise the value from their cyber investments.’
