Cyber Security Connect UK welcomes UK’s cybersecurity elite

The leading exclusive conference and industry forum for chief information security officers (CISOs) kicks off today

Cyber Security Connect UK (CSC UK), the leading exclusive conference and industry forum for chief information security officers (CISOs) kicks off today (13th November) and runs until 15th November in Monaco. This second edition event will see more than 200 of the UK’s top CISOs selected from a range of industries including finance, retail and legal, as well as representatives from government bodies gather to discuss the most current cand challenging cybersecurity trends.

The exclusive annual event is unique in the fact that it brings together hand-picked CISOs and decision-makers to meet and network with their peers. During the three day event, the delegates will debate high-level, issues-led content, attend pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings with selected IT security providers and take advantage of exclusive opportunities to solve cybersecurity issues.

Key discussions planned for this year’s event include cyber resilience, securing the supply chain, bechmarking the CISO, cyber incident management and developing the next generation of cyber talent.

During the exciting and insightful programme, keynote speeches will be given by Dominic Fortescue, director-general government security group and government chief security officer, cabinet office who will cover ‘The concept of cyber resilience as a model for moving forward’; Adenike Cosgrove, Cybersecurity Strategy, EMEA, Proofpoint and Andrew Rose, senior VP, chief security officer, Mastercard will discuss ‘Why cybercriminals know more about your employees that you do’, as well as, Jon Green, VP and Chief Technologist for Security, Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company discussing ‘Zero Trust: Hype, or the Future of Networks?’.

In addition to the topical keynote speeches, guests will also enjoy a range of fascinating partner workshops including from Forescout Technologies on the topic of a Lloyds Banking Group: Case Study – ‘Cutting through complexity to gain 100% endpoint visibility’; from Zscaler UK Ltd on ‘How the democratisation of IT is introducing new security risk’ and from Vectra regarding ‘AI in Security Operations – What have we learned so far?’.
