London, UK – 4 February 2020 – One Identity, a proven leader in identity-centred security, will host its annual EMEA One Identity UNITE conference from 30th March – 2nd April 2020 at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain. Customers, partners and product experts will gather for a three-day event to collaborate, network and learn about solutions, innovations and challenges in the Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management and Active Directory markets. Delegates will be treated to keynote presentations from guest speakers including industry analyst Rob Bamforth and Bennett Arron, an award-winning comedian with real-life experience of identity theft, a Partner Expo, Gala dinner and partner awards event.

Specific breakout sessions hosted by thought leaders and product specialists from One Identity will address trends like robotics and automation within an identity construct, product breakout sessions and a case study from Rabobank will look at how security starts with identity. While independent industry analyst Rob Bamforth’s presentation entitled “Who am I?” will address how organisations can ask this simple question to better manage IT security and risk.

“Today’s open and hyperconnected technology world transforms businesses and streamlines every process, even those of malicious intent,” said Bamforth. “Is it better to trust nothing and no one until you are certain of who they are and what they intend? During the UNITE conference, I’m looking forward to exploring the use of a ‘Zero trust unless and until sure’ mantra and why identity is a vital starting point.”

Comedian and writer Bennett Arron will also provide an account of his own identity theft experience peppered with comedic anecdotes with his presentation on “How to Steal An Identity.”

“Several years ago, I was in serious debt owing thousands of pounds to phone companies, banks and department stores – only it wasn’t me,” said Arron. “I had become one of the first major victims of Identity Theft in the UK. Years later, I directed and presented the Channel 4 Television Documentary “How to Steal An Identity” in which I proved the ease of the crime by stealing the identity of the British Home Secretary. I am delighted to be speaking at the One Identity UNITE conference to continue to highlight the importance of identity and fraud prevention to enterprises all over the world.”

Andrew Clarke, Head of the Global Channel Strategy for One Identity, said: “UNITE provides an environment where customers talk about their experiences and everyone expands their understanding of the future direction of One Identity.

“One Identity partners find UNITE the place to meet new customers and build collaborative relationships across the partner eco-system. They get to talk to senior leaders and also product development specialists – and through a “whisper-suite,” provide direct feedback on One Identity innovations.”

The event will also feature One Identity Partner Circle discussions to explore business and technical challenges to share how identity-centred security fits into their businesses, a gala dinner evening and the coveted One Identity Partner Awards.

“Most of all the event captures the spirit of One Identity – a progressive, innovative digital identity company that cares about its partner and customer community,” Clarke concluded.

The full conference agenda is available here. UNITE programme developments are available throughout the conference using the hashtags #OneIdentityUNITE and #SecurityStartsHere or via Twitter: @OneIdentity.
