Securonix, Inc., has announced the appointment of Brett Bowman as Chief Financial Officer and Dilshan Ratnayake as Chief People Officer. The company also added product engineering leadership from companies including Amazon, Microsoft and IBM. The C-suite and technical leadership appointments will aim to continue encouraging growth and accommodate explosive demand for the Securonix Next-Gen SIEM platform.

“Securonix has experienced unprecedented market traction by allowing customers to cut the cord on traditional security monitoring and leverage the cloud-based SaaS model of the Securonix Next-Gen SIEM platform,” said Dave Colesante, COO of Securonix. “In order to capitalise on recent success and take the next step in our company life cycle, we must continue to enhance our offerings with the best people, process and technology. With these latest hires, we are doing exactly that.”

Securonix’s growth has been driven by demand for its Cloud SIEM offering. Direct customers and managed service providers offering SIEM-as-a-Service are adopting the Securonix solution as a modern security analytics platform to replace their legacy SIEM solutions. Securonix works with five of the Global Fortune 10 and has a growing customer base across industry verticals and geographies. Growth points highlighting the company’s business traction over the past 12 months include:

  • 200% YoY total bookings growth
  • 250% YoY SaaS bookings growth
  • 63% YoY new logo bookings growth
  • 105% net dollar retention rate
  • Onboarded 30+ MSSPs and 100+ logos

Mr. Bowman comes to Securonix after successfully defining and executing the growth strategy of two tech startups, serving as CFO of Woot (acquired by Amazon) and most recently as CFO of Main Street Hub (acquired by GoDaddy). At Securonix, Mr. Bowman will lead the company’s finance and accounting operations and hold responsibilities in fundraising, investor relations and accelerating overall company growth strategy and execution.

Mr. Ratnayake brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience to Securonix, most recently serving as Head of Human Resources for publicly traded travel technology company, Sabre Corporation. At Securonix, Mr. Ratnayake will lead people and talent functions across the company’s global footprint and scale growth and expansion plans for go-to-market and engineering, along with further strengthening the Securonix company culture.

“It’s clear from recent company trajectory that Securonix provides a platform solution that is purpose built for today’s enterprise security needs and holds unlimited growth potential, which is why joining Securonix is so exciting,” said Mr. Bowman.

“Coming from several publicly traded organizations, I recognize the promise Securonix holds and am fully committed to helping it achieve its goals as one of cybersecurity’s next great companies,” added Mr. Ratnayake.
