The Zensory Partners with Brigantia to Bring Cyber Mindfulness to the Reseller Market

Wellbeing and productivity platform The Zensory has announced a strategic partnership with channel distributor Brigantia to bring Cyber Mindfulness to partners and their customers across the channel. The Zensory will be available as a module alongside all KnowBe4 packages, as well as a stand-alone product. The partnership aims to address growing concerns around staff wellbeing, alongside providing new and existing partners with additional value to their KnowBe4 packages.

The phishing landscape in the UK in 2024 remains highly active and sophisticated. Research has found that since 2020 there’s been a 94% increase in phishing and scam activity globally – with no sign of slowing down. Cybercriminals continue to leverage a variety of tactics, including impersonation scams, smishing attacks, and spear phishing to target victims. This, paired with increased burnout across organisations globally, presents a significant security risk for organisations.

Notably, research by The Zensory, conducted in partnership with one of Africa’s largest banks, found that engaging in mindfulness practices during work hours drastically reduced phishing click rates. Even engaging in simple actions like taking three deep breaths and listening to binaural beats with nature sounds before browsing emails can help put employees in a better mindset to approach work activities, reducing phishing success rates, promoting a healthier mindset and boosting productivity. This people-focused approach to security awareness training, termed ‘Mindful Security’, is revolutionising the market and helping training to become more impactful and long-lasting.

On the increasing security risk of ‘the human factor’ in cybersecurity, Jarad Carleton, Analyst and Global Research Director, Cybersecurity Program, at Frost and Sullivan, said: “Security isn’t just about tools and processes, there is also a vital human factor in cybersecurity. Unfortunately, when business users and information security professionals are harried by tasks and information overload, mistakes increase that put organisations in peril. That’s why it’s important to provide teams with scientifically proven methods of stress reduction that help professionals rest their minds and sharpen their focus. Taking care of the human factor reduces avoidable cybersecurity mistakes that can negatively impact an organisation and its customers.”

Cementing their position as an innovative distributor, and torch-bearing new ideas, Brigantia has listened to feedback from existing customers and partners on the increasingly pressing need for workplace wellbeing tools. Compounded with capabilities to decrease phishing click rates, The Zensory provides partners with extra value from their phishing platforms. Not only does The Zensory help users to focus, but it also helps users to relax and unwind after a task.

Robert Hall, Product Marketing Director at Brigantia, noted, “Partnering with The Zensory is a huge commitment for Brigantia and is something we are 100% behind because the workplace is changing, with users taking their wellbeing far more seriously than ever before and we wanted to give back to our loyal customers and community. We feel it’ll complement the training offered by KnowBe4 and have a positive impact on the way users view cybersecurity both personally and within the corporate environment. The fact it helps people focus better is also a huge plus especially as it’s been proven to help with phishing awareness.  Additionally, if everyone in this industry can do more to help avoid burnout and improve stress levels then we’re right there with The Zensory as our partner of choice.”

Javvad Malik, Lead Security Advocate at KnowBe4, said: “Cybersecurity isn’t just about protecting systems—it’s also about ensuring employees are equipped to handle cyber threats and make security-conscious decisions. We need to embrace cyber mindfulness, fostering a culture of balance and mental resilience that prioritises both security and self-care. This is a core goal for The Zensory and I’ve experienced and witnessed first hand the benefits a clear head and pausing to take a breath can have on improving secure behaviours. In an always-on world, protecting our minds is as essential as protecting our networks.”

Jasmine Eskenzi, Founder and CEO of The Zensory, said: “We’re proud to be partnering with Brigantia to bring The Zensory platform to the Channel. Through this partnership, Brigantia is showing its long-term commitment to a healthier and more secure workforce. With the changing threat landscape, training alone isn’t sufficient enough protection for organisations anymore. Threat actors have become more savvy when it comes to psychological tactics and targeting victims. In order to enable clear thinking, focus, and balance, we need to shift the brain from a state of stress to calm. This is what The Zensory helps users to do, both boosting productivity and reducing phishing click rates.”

The Zensory’s full mindfulness toolkit, including touchpads, binaural beats, and guided breathing, will be rolled out over time for new and existing Brigantia partners who use KnowBe4 products. The company aims to promote the use of tech for good.

Earlier this year, The Zensory’s Founder, Jasmine Eskenzi, was named ‘One to Watch’ at The Most Inspiring Women in Cyber Awards.
