Check Point Software Partners with OffSec to Elevate Cybersecurity Training for IGS Customers

In an era of rapidly evolving cyber threats, the need for continuous cybersecurity training is more critical than ever. Check Point Research (CPR) even highlights a 30% increase in cyberattacks in Q2 2024 – the highest surge in the last two years. This fact further emphasises how essential it is for organisations to ensure their IT teams are consistently trained and equipped to face growing challenges.

Recognising the importance of continual skills development, Check Point has expanded its training offerings for Infinity Customers through its ongoing partnership with OffSec, adding OffSec’s Learn Enterprise product into the Infinity Global Services (IGS) customers offering. In a similar fashion to the Check Point – Cybrary partnership, OffSec collaboration with Check Point ensures Check Point customers now have more access than ever to affordable, cutting-edge cybersecurity training resources, enabling them to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Why Cyber security Training Is Non-Negotiable In 2024

A recent workforce study by ISC2 revealed that 92% of organisations require skill development to maintain and strengthen their cybersecurity posture. Furthermore, Check Point’s research in collaboration with Vanson Bourne shows that 89% of IT and security professionals face a significant skills gap, making it clear that traditional approaches to workforce development are no longer enough. To combat sophisticated cyberattacks, organisations must prioritise continuous learning and real-world application of skills.

OffSec Learn Enterprise: A Game-Changer for Check Point IGS Customers

To address this growing skills gap, Check Point recently added OffSec’s flagship cyber learning product: the “Learn Enterprise” platform. This self-paced cyber training platform for companies and large organisations would be added to IGS’ Hacking Point program, which celebrated its 5th anniversary this year, and remains a centerpiece in IGS’s Training Programs portfolio.

OffSec, a leader in hands-on cybersecurity training, enables Check Point’s Infinity customers to use its flagship learning product, Learn Enterprise, to tackle the cyber security talent shortage head-on. Via OffSec’s Learn Enterprise platform, Check Point customers can access a wide range of resources that foster deep technical skills that can be mastered and then used in real-world simulation experiences.

What Makes OffSec’s Learn Enterprise Different?

The Learn Enterprise platform is crafted to meet the needs of modern enterprises by providing a comprehensive, value-driven, flexible training solution with a wide array of training tools, labs, and courses. This includes:

  • Extensive Learning Library: Access to OffSec’s entire library of courses, learning paths, and labs, covering everything from foundational skills to advanced certifications like OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) and other industry-recognised credentials.
  • Hands-On Cyber Ranges: License holders gain access to OffSec’s cyber ranges, allowing them to practice in real-world environments and simulate advanced attack scenarios.
  • Analytics and Admin Tools: Administrators can use a dedicated panel with real-time usage data, enabling better oversight and optimisation of training efforts.
  • Bonus Certification Exams: Learners benefit from additional certification exams, ensuring they can solidify their knowledge and prove their capabilities.
  • Flexible Licensing: Learn Enterprise offers reassignable licenses throughout the subscription term, allowing organisations to adapt their learning resources to changing team structures.
  • SSO Integration and Compliance: Supporting Okta SSO, the platform ensures seamless access and is SOC II Type 2 compliant for enterprise-level security.
An Optimised Learning Platform for IGS Customers

For Check Point’s IGS customers, the addition of OffSec’s Learn Enterprise holds several key benefits:

  • Tailored Learning Paths: Whether your team consists of newcomers to cybersecurity or seasoned professionals, Learn Enterprise’s customisable paths make it easy to focus on the specific skills your organisation needs most.
  • Practical Experience: Hands-on labs and cyber ranges ensure that your team can apply theoretical knowledge in practical, real-world situations. This approach is key to building a workforce that can respond to and mitigate threats effectively.
  • Cost-Effective and Scalable: With reassignable licenses, bonus certifications, and enterprise-level tools, this offering is both affordable and scalable, making high-quality training more accessible than ever before.
  • Continuous Development: Learn Enterprise supports ongoing skills development, ensuring that your team is always ready to handle the latest cyber security challenges.
A Commitment to Cyber security Excellence and Workforce Longevity

By integrating OffSec’s Learn Enterprise into the Infinity Global Services portfolio, Check Point reinforces its dedication to providing enterprises with leading cybersecurity training resources. This partnership equips organisations with the critical tools and real-world skills necessary to defend against today’s most complex cyber threats, empowering teams to stay resilient in a dynamic cyber landscape.
