Wall Street Journal – It’s London Technology Week, and that means the city is rolling out studies and statistics about how important the tech sector is for the U.K. capital.
Two separate reports, commissioned by the Mayor of London’s promotional organization, found lots of evidence of robust growth for the British tech industry.
One, by Oxford Economics, a forecasting and analysis firm, predicts that London’s digital tech sector is expected to create an additional £12 billion ($20 billion) of economic activity and 46,000 new jobs in the U.K. capital over the next decade.
