Alert Logic Offers 90-day Free Vulnerability Detection with Extended Protection
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Since the Coronavirus pandemic has taken hold, Alert Logic has experienced a 92 percent increase in deployed endpoints. As a result, the industry’s first SaaS-enabled managed detection and response (MDR) provider is offering a 90-day free vulnerability detection with extended protection to help mitigate cyber-attacks aimed at the increased number of remote workers.

Alert Logic’s recent offer includes machine learning-enabled protection, AWS configuration checks, asset discovery, and vulnerability scanning. The Texas-based cybersecurity giant has also launched a COVID-19 resource centre which provides added advice on how to adjust to an expanding remote workforce.

Managed Accounts Dashboards have been added to the Alert Logic MDR console in order to provide improved visibility and attack protection and overall more comprehensive security. Now dashboards provide a visual depiction of managed accounts, so that security posture can be assessed, and decisions can be made in order to focus resources efficiently.

There are two new Alert Logic MDR capabilities which provide greater visibility and assist businesses in detecting threats across their environments: Marketplace-Style Application Registry whereby a centralised repository is incorporated into the MDR console to hello security teams log sources and incident types and CIS Benchmarks for Azure so organisations can now assess both their Azure and AWS environments against an industry standard CIS Benchmark, identify misconfigurations, and receive step-by-step assistance.

“Managed detection and response gives security teams cost-effective access to advanced technologies and 24/7 security experts for protecting their businesses against today’s increasingly prevalent and sophisticated cyber-attacks,” said Onkar Birk, Chief Product Officer, Alert Logic. “These new capabilities, designed for simplicity with both partners and customers in mind, will help businesses cover more of their attack surface to deliver the best security outcomes.”
