Corelight, provider of the industry’s first open network detection and response (NDR) platform, today announced a new distribution agreement with Redington Group, a global provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions for all categories of IT, telecom, and digital lifestyle solutions, to grow and support Corelight’s channel community across the Middle East and Africa.

“As we continue to expand our global footprint, we rely on trusted relationships with strong solutions integrators that offer both security expertise and customer support,” said Gareth Green, vice president of sales for EMEA and the Eastern US at Corelight. “Distribution partners play an integral role between Corelight and our customers; therefore it is critical that we partner with a regional distributor who is connected to the right channel partners and we believe that we have found a true partner in Redington Group.”

As part of its value-added distribution agreement, Redington’s initial partner recruitment will focus on security-focused partners with strong network security and SOC-based expertise and services.
“Cybersecurity has become a top priority for organizations in the Middle East and Africa. Corelight’s unique sensors are a great addition to Redington’s portfolio and will give us a chance to show to our partners and customers how our offering will be an integral part of their security stack as they continue to modernize and become more data-driven in strengthening their security postures” said Sayantan Dev, president at Redington Value. “We are excited to partner with Corelight in one of the fastest growing markets and help enterprises protect their critical assets from the ever-changing attacks of cybercriminals.”

Corelight gives defenders the information and tools they need to successfully detect and respond to threats. Corelight Sensors are built on Zeek, an open source, global standard technology. Zeek provides rich, structured, security-relevant data to the entire security operations center (SOC), making everyone from tier one analysts to seasoned threat hunters far more effective.

“We are seeing increased interest from mature enterprise customers including government organizations, financial sector, healthcare, managed SOC providers, and telecommunication providers with mission-critical networks,” said Basil Shahin, regional sales director of Middle East, Turkey, and Africa for Corelight. “Most of these customers are choosing Corelight because we can provide a customized, highly-scalable offering that features robust capabilities that are unmatched in the network detection and response space.”

Redington is the second large international distribution partner for Corelight, joining Ignition Technology, which specialises in the discovery and distribution of innovative, next generation IT security and networking solutions for businesses in UK, Ireland and Nordic regions.
