Check Point has announced the winners of its Ireland Partner Awards. The annual awards ceremony, which took place at The Westbury Hotel, Dublin, on the 17th of October 2024, celebrated the input of Check Point’s affiliate companies and the growing partner community in Ireland.

The Check Point Ireland Partner Awards took place on the evening of the Dublin Cyber Leader Summit. The summit saw leaders from across government, enterprise, and partner organisations convene for discussions on the latest topics and trends to better prepare partners for the challenges that lie ahead for organisations. The comprehensive agenda notably included talks by Dara Calleary, Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital, and Company Regulation, and Kieran McCorry, CTO of Microsoft Ireland. Attendees were also treated to a keynote presentation by author and ‘The People Hacker’ Jenny Radcliffe. Learning and networking were cornerstones of this successful event.

So far, 2024 has been a turbulent time for Irish organisations when it comes to cyber security. Earlier this year, Check Point Research reported the highest increase in global cyber-attacks seen in the last two years, with Ireland experiencing a sharp rise in incidents. These attacks, driven by increasing sophistication, have put added pressure on businesses. Alongside these escalating risks, new regulations like NIS2 (which came into effect on the same day as the event) have added further compliance challenges. Fortunately, Check Point’s partners continue to effectively support and guide customers in these times of change.

The Ireland Partner Awards provide a platform to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of regional industry leaders in addressing key cyber security challenges that customers face. The awards commend the dedication, hard work, and successes of key players in the cyber security sector, who are working tirelessly to protect businesses and individuals. Channel partners are invaluable as an extension of these businesses, helping to build resilience and strengthen cyber security without the need for in-house Security Operations Centres (SOCs).

The winners of the 2024 Ireland Partner Awards were:

  • Partner of the Year: Integrity360
  • Growth Partner of the Year: SEP2
  • Project of the Year: Eir Mobile for Harmony Mobile
  • Innovation Partner of the Year: BT Ireland
  • MSSP Partner of the Year: DGTek Solutions
  • Sales Champion of the Year: Sonya McSherry – Integrity360
  • Technical Champion of the Year: Steven Meadows – Integrity360
  • Distribution Partner of the Year: Climb Channel Solutions Ireland
  • Channel Champion of the Year: Jonathan Boyle – Climb
  • Channel Champion of the Year: Derek Boyle – Evad Technology Group
  • Marketing Partner of the Year: Arrow Electronics

Seamus McCorry, Country Manager Ireland at Check Point Software: “A big congratulations to all of the winners and nominees of this year’s Ireland Partner Awards. At Check Point, we are proud to work alongside such a dynamic and innovative partner ecosystem that plays a critical role in helping organisations navigate today’s increasingly complex cyber security landscape. Our partners have demonstrated remarkable leadership, agility, and resilience in supporting customers across Ireland, especially in the face of rising cyber threats and new regulatory demands like NIS2. These awards reflect their hard work and commitment to delivering the highest standards of cyber security excellence, enabling businesses to stay secure, compliant, and ahead of the curve. We look forward to continuing to grow and succeed together.”
