Figures released today by Egress Software Technologies following an FOI request to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) reveal 173 law firms were investigated for breaches of the Data Protection Act in 2014.
The research shows that a total of 187 incidents were recorded, and 26 per cent related to incorrect ‘disclosure of data’.
